It was the accomplishments of the Apollo 8 astronauts that inspired the all-black, ceramic Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon - but it is the mystique of Earth's nightlight that spurred the creation of the "Vintage Black." This 44.25mm model stands apart with its warm brown indexes, hands, and Super-LumiNova accents set against an all-black ceramic case and laser-engraved dial. The brown leather strap and sepia-toned bezel markings give it a character unlike any other DSOTM variant - equal parts tool watch and time-worn explorer. Powered by Omega's in-house Co-Axial Calibre 9300 chronograph with column wheel, silicon balance spring, and a 60-hour power reserve visible through the exhibition caseback.
